We are so excited to invite you to join us in celebrating our engagement!
We’re getting married twice (sort of)! With dear family and friends in both Scotland and the States, we are naturally doing something a little untraditional. We will be having a more intimate wedding ceremony in Scotland in the summer of 2027. As our Scottish celebration is necessarily limited in size, we are so excited to get everyone together at our engagement party to gather with many of our friends and family closer to home. It’s also an excuse for our loved ones in Scotland to visit beautiful Cooperstown, just 30 minutes away from where the love story all began. We can’t wait to celebrate with you, wherever in the world that may be!

Friday:
5:30 P.M. | Bonfire hosted by Lin & GibCasual, outdoor attire encouraged! Bring plenty of layers. We will have food, drinks, and maybe Timmy will even bring his guitar!
Directions to bonfire: Coming from Cooperstown Center: Lake Street to Glimmerglen Road. Turn LEFT onto Johnston Road. Look for a flag about 7/10ths of a mile up on the RIGHT. Just past the Red House.
Saturday:
Golf, shopping, hiking, breweries — you name it! The day is up to you. 6:00 P.M. | Ally & Jack’s Engagement Party
Food, drinks, and dancing at Templeton Hall.
9:00 P.M. | Bar Hopping around Cooperstown
Sunday:
1:00 P.M. | Barbecue at the QuirksFood, drinks, and farewells!
The Quirks have a room block at The Railroad Inn with a limited number of rooms starting at $250/night.
There are also many AirBnb and hotel options in the area if you’re planning to stay the weekend — we recommend booking ASAP!
